The major areas of research include nanomaterial synthesis, nonlinear optical studies and molecular simulations. Two of the faculty members, Dr. Benoy Anand and Dr. P L Anto, have been recognised as research guides by the University of Calicut. Students of UG and PG programmes are involved in research activities as part of their project.
