Best Alumna Award 2011-12

Announcement Inviting Nominations/Applications

For the first time in the history of the College Alumnae Association, the association members and faculty (serving or retired) are offered opportunity to nominate the Alumna they think should be considered for the award of the Best Alumna of the Year. The specially empowered scrutiny team of the association comprising nominees of the management, faculty and the association will consider the nominations based on the prescribed criteria listed below:

I – Quality and quantity of the Research engagements as demonstrated by    publications

II – Participation in extension activities and social services

III - Prizes, awards, recognitions won

IV - Posts held in various associations (Local, National, International, GO, NGO)

V – Relationship with alumnae

Total score of all the criteria put together is 100, each criterion carrying 20. To be eligible for the award the nominee must score a minimum of 60 out of 100.

Any member of the association can put in the nomination in the prescribed Performa downloadable from our website in favor of anot her member she finds suitable for the award. Nominations should reach the undersigned by email/post not later than 20 January 2012 latest.  Alternatively, the member herself can also apply in the above application without any nomination. In the case of such applications, all other conditions will remain the same. Thank you. Wish you the best in the year that dawns.
