Research department of Commerce organised a National Webinar on women empowerment through financial literacy

The Research Department of Commerce organised a national webinar on ‘Women Empowerment through financial literacy’ for faculty and students on 29th July 2021 via Google meet. Smt. Femina T.T was the resource person. She is the Chief Manager , Strategic Trading Unit, Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

The session started with a prayer followed by welcome address by Aswathy Pradeep. Then resource person shared different aspects of women empowerment through financial literacy. The session covered the importance of financial independence of women. It enlightened the importance of empowering women in the present scenario. The session covered the following areas like Reasons for women empowerment , financial literacy, practical strategies for learning by doing. The class was very informative and knowledgeable. After that an interactive session was there to clear doubts. The programme came to an end with vote of thanks by Sradha Baiju.​
