Research Department of Commerce observed International Girl Child Day on
11 th October 2020 through Google Meet. The purpose of observance of this day
was to convey the message of recognizing girl’s rights and the unique challenges
girls face around the world. Fathima A.M, Third year B Com student spoke about
international girl child day and the necessity of empowering girl child, for
becoming leaders, entrepreneurs and change makers. Second year B Com students
presented a video of dance performed by them. The programme came to an end by
the vote of thanks by Akhila of second year B com.
