Celebration of world students day in the department

Research department of Commerce celebrated World Students Day on October1 5, 2020 through online mode. World Students Day is commemorated on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary. The purpose of celebrating world students’ day by the department was to motivate students to practice the values and inspiration given by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam through out his life.

The programme started with a prayer followed by welcome speech by Glaicy Sunny of third semester B Com. Ms. Elisabeth Paul C gave message of students’ day. Gowri K.R of third semester B Com delivered a speech on students’ day. Honoring Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Fifth semester B Com students presented a video, telling the life story of the great teacher. After that Ms Remya S announced the results of PRAXIS 2020, National Level Intercollegiate Competition held by the department in connection with World Students Day. The programme was ended with vote of thanks by Akhila V.B
