INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE

International Day against Drug Abuse is observed across the world on June 26. This year the theme for the day is “addressing drug challenges in health and humanitarian crises”. This addresses the different challenges the world is facing and tries to take steps to create a world free of drug abuse.
The NCC unit of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda celebrated the day by taking the “Say yes to life, no to drugs” pledge conducted by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the day. Posters and videos were uploaded on social media.
