In keeping with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the National Cadet Corps has initiated a nationwide flagship campaign Puneet Sagar Abhiyan to clean seashores/beaches and other water bodies including rivers, and lecture of plastics and other waste materials.
As a part of Puneet Sagar Abhiyan NCC cadets of St. Joseph ( Autonomous ), College Irinjalakuda have arranged a lecture about the Single-use of plastics on 3/4/2022 at 3 pm. Assistant professor of School of Food Science and Technology Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam Dr. Sharrel Rebello was the resource person for the live lecture online. Cadets prepared posters to convey to everyone and posted them on social media.
