The Cadets participated in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav programs by singing the National Anthem in the given Digital Forum

India celebrated her 75th Independence Day on 15 August 2021. In order to commemorate the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the citizens to sing the national anthem on the Independence Day of 2021, to create a "rashtragan" record, aiming for the maximum number of Indians to sing the national anthem together. The initiative was taken by the Ministry of Culture to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, which is a series of events organized by the Central Government to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. An online portal was created by the Central Government for this purpose, where anyone can record and upload their own videos singing the national anthem. Observing the initiative, all the NCC cadets of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda participated in the event which included the recording of the national anthem being sung.
