World students day is celebrated on the 15th of October every year.it is celebrated in remembrance of former Indian president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The day is celebrated on kalam's birthday because he was a dedicated teacher and he wanted the youth of the nation to inculcate the fundamentals of values within them. His most famous quote "the ignited minds of the youth is the most powerful resource of the earth" tells us that he wanted the youth of the country to rise up and become a powerful resource on the earth.

The NCC cadets of St.Joseph's College (Autonomous)Irinjalakuda celebrated the day by creating a poster and posting it in social media on social media platforms. They wanted the youth and the students of the nation to become  aware of how our former president wanted the youth to rise and become asset of the country
