Programme

St Joseph’s College offers a variety of programs under different disciplines to discover the courses according to the interests of students. The combination of courses under different Departments of Arts, Science and commerce provide an opportunity for the students to build their career. Under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), the college offers 26 UG, 14 PG and 4 Research programs. We also have one Integrated UG and PG programs. The academics focus on the theoretical and practical areas of the discipline and the syllabus is aimed for a holistic understanding. Thus the curriculum is a compound mixture of core and complimentary papers, projects, discipline specific electives, general electives, ability enhancement, skill enhancement and co-curricular activities.

The courses and the streams are also supported with the programs initiated by the Government of India. The SWAYAM offers a Credit transfer option to its students in an aim to have access, equity and quality. The best teaching learning resources are accessible to the students during the course period to fulfil the objectives of ‘learning by doing’.

The flexibility of the credit system followed by the institution provides an opportunity for students to choose courses of their choice and interest. Additional courses improve the student to earn extra scores and they will be comfortable with options to choose from their related fields.
