Environment Day Celebrations 2021 ( Green )

World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. This year, the theme of World Environment Day is "Reimagine. Recreate. Restore.". As a part of Environment Day celebration Department of Chemistry conducted photography competition and cloth bag making on 5th June 2021. Students were advised to send their photographs of planting trees on June 5. Total 81 students participated in the competition, most of them with two photographs as per the modalities published. In connection with world Environment Day Research and PG Department of Chemistry also conducted cloth bag making campaign. Several students participated in this campaign. Cotton bags are not only look attractive and durable but a safe and reliable way to cart items from one place to another. Thus cotton bags make the environment, pollution free from the plastic bags.
