Media lab is an umbrella term used for several types of multimedia equipment come under one roof. The Journalism and Mass Communication lab consisted of updated multimedia equipments and software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Media Lab which comprises of Cameras, Tripods, Editing Software, Speakers, Audio Mixer and Lighting Equipment. The lab is a convergence of the theoretical concepts and its practical implementation to inspire aspiring Journalists to acuminate their journalistic skills. The spacious Media Lab can house least 30 students at once with ease. It provides them ample space and the right ambience to conduct activities such as mock sessions, Interviews and Editing Short Films and documentaries  produced by the students. The 24 hour internet connection enables the students to access different online platform for practical references. The students monthly produce newsletters form the lab. The students produce, refine and distribute news from this lab.  Media Lab is a remarkable resource center for all types of electronic media production. High quality photographic documentation (both still and video), video making of lectures, uploading video material on social platforms, and supporting students in their productions are some of the works that is undertaken by the Media Lab. The students from the department have access to the latest professional DSLRs with all the required accessories. The media Lab is also a theatre platform for weekly film screening, there the students reviews each scene of the movie and analyzes the shots and camera techniques used in each frame. Journalism and Mass Communication Students have access to well-designed and fully-equipped labs and studios that can help them prepare for real-world industry challenges. Periodically updated with the latest technology and equipment, they help bridge the theory and practice gap via a hands-on training approach.
