The department of Botany has well equipped laboratory facility for both BSc and MSc Programmes. There is separate B.Sc. and M.Sc laboratories .

The UG Lab provides suitable environment for understanding the basic concepts of various subject areas in Botany. A well equipped Lab comprising of the following equipment which includes Compound microscopes for each student , Binocular microscope with image capturing facility, Laminar Airflow, Colorimeter, Electronic weighing balance, Electrophoresis unit, Water Bath, UV Transilluminator, Microtome, pH meter, Rotary shaker, Micrometer, Camera Lucida , BOD Incubator Stereo microscope Soxhlet apparatus etc. Infrastructure facility for bioinformatics practical   is provided .

Department also possess a PG lab, to cater the requirements of curriculum.  This helps students to get hands own experience in using  instruments and working principle . Various sophisticated equipments like CXL Labomed Monolocular microscope, Laminar air flow, Electronic weighing balance, hot air oven, pH meter, Electronic pH meter, BOD Incubator, Soxhlet apparatus, Water Bath,Centrifuge,Autoclave, UV Visible spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, Electrophoretic unit , Rotary shaker, Magnetic stirrer etc. are well functional .

Herbarium cabinets  to preserve a large collection of dried plant specimen is provided for both UG and PG.Rotary  Histological studies are done with rotary microtome.A
